A Band Stretch Block is for holding a hat firmly inside a brim block (flange) while ironing a brim or shaping under a sand bag. These are sturdy and robust tools made from heavy duty materials which will not wear over a long period of use. These are made to a head size so that when used with the correct brim it will make a very nice sharp crease at the base of the crown. Also used in the manufacture of riding hats and features a faceted handle that will take a 19mm spanner for extra tightening power. The sides can be made to any angle but as standard they come with a slight taper for ease of fitting into the brim and to not damage the crown. An essential hatters tool. Please note that these are not ‘hat jacks’ and are not for hat stretching.
