CO2 – Crown Collar
Crowns that are made to the exact height of the finished hat do not have any room for a string groove to be added. In this case, the blocks have screw fixings in the bottom so one of these crown collars can be attached. The top edge is bevelled so once it is screwed on, a groove is created. They can also be screwed onto the bottom of a multiblock tip and some crowns for use when making pill box hats. Supplied with screws.

BB84 and MB78 – Boater Combo
A great little boater set made up of a separate brim and crown that fit together in the normal multiblock way. The tip MB78 is low (52mm) and designed especially to be a perching boater (21″). If you order the brim separately in a head fitting size then any standard multiblock tip will work fine. The brim width will always be 64mm wide all around. The string groove is included on the brim as pictured.

BB71 – Snap Brim Block
A very stylish ‘snap’ brim which features a ridge round the back where the blocked brim will ‘snap’ to create an upturn running from the sides round to the back. This has the advantage that with a crown or indeed any of our multiblock tips screwed on top, you can ‘block in one’ in the same way that you would make a cloche hat. The ideal crown to accompany this brim is the CB112 pictured left, but why not try any of our multiblock tips too. Other blocks that will attach in the same way as CB112 are CB117 and CB51. String groove as standard and the overall brim width is 2″.

BB85 – Peak Brim Block
Inspired by our popular CB107, we decided to turn it into a multiblock brim for use with the full range of tips. Featuring a fully hollowed underside, you can fold and pin right into the bottom to give a double-sided peak, or perhaps with straw you could fold in just to give a hem to the bottom edge. Shown here with an MB7 tip. You can also use it with any of the extensions to make a taller crown more like CB107.

BB78 – Brim Block
A very large diameter up turn brim with a dramatic sweep from side to side. The thumbnail picture shows the block at the angle the finished hat will be with the high side being as high as an average crown. High side can be placed either left or right. Why not try MB77 tip which gives a matching slope to the crown? Circular outline, 516mm diameter and pictured here with string groove as standard.
